What is the difference between Absolute and Relative Mode?

Does the laser take the angle measurement?
No. The digital sensor provides the angle reading. The two lasers act as visual guides for extending or transferring alignment.
Will the magnets attach to every metal surface?
No. They are intended for compatible ferrous surfaces such as many iron and steel parts. They will not hold to aluminum, copper, or many stainless-steel surfaces.
Can I leave it attached while a saw or machine is running?
No. Power the equipment off before positioning the gauge, and remove the gauge before cutting or operating the machine.
